Miller is also a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, with a primary focus on American foreign policy.
Aaron David Miller is currently a Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace where he focuses on US foreign policy and American diplomacy. Between 1978 and 2003 he served as a State Department Middle East historian, analyst, negotiator and adviser in Democratic and Republican Administrations. He is a CNN Global affairs Analyst and author most recently of the End of Greatness: Why America Can’t Have (and Doesn’t Want) Another Great President.
Award-winning investigative reporter David Hammer has been a professional journalist since 1997, joining the WWL-TV Eyewitness News team in New Orleans in 2012. Hammer has won several Emmys for his work during this time. He last won in 2018 for his environmental series "Toxic Truth," looking at air pollution in the so-called Cancer Alley between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Hammer, a seventh-generation New Orleanian, came to WWL-TV after a 15-year career as a print and wire reporter, including almost six years at The Times-Picayune. A graduate of Harvard University, Hammer's previous journalism experience also includes five years spent working for newspapers in New England and four years with The Associated Press.
